Thirty-one

OK. I'm 31. May 3. Woo Hoo. I should sell that Thirty One stuff. Bags and purses or something????

Justin took me out to the Olive Garden and went shopping with me at the Outlet Mall. Had a great time! Thanks Dear!

We had cake and ice cream at my parents house. I had to work that night grading praxis tests on the computer. I'm so glad Justin took the day off to celebrate with me!

Random April Update

Thanks for the largo pancake-o! Yum!
We planted our garden. Beans. Tomatoes. Cucumber. Red/yellow/green bell pepper. Flowers. The kids helped a little. I had to take Isaac in once the garden got too full of plants. He didn't understand why he couldn't grab all the plants and step on them.
This is O & I's friend, Brayden. We met him and his mom at the park one day.
In this picture, Isaac doesn't look too sure, but he really was having fun with this.
Olivia was happy to have her picture taken with all the animals on the train ride. I think she looks like such a big girl!

Two Birds With One Stone

Two birds: brushing teeth AND taking a bath. I didn't throw stones though.

This is just a bird. I took from the kitchen. I zoomed in WAY FAR. He was at the very top of our huge trees in the back of the yard. He's in mid-chirp. Cool.

The Hunt

Easter was good. After church and kid naps, we grilled burgers and had an Easter egg hunt. Isaac was funny because I had to hold his hand so he could walk. He would be holding an egg, see another one, walk to it, and then didn't know what to do. Pick 2 up with one hand? Put 1 down, pick one up? Set em both down and look at them? Kind of like Luci does when she's playing with 2 balls outside. We put jelly beans and change in them. Fun shakers. Olivia wanted to wear her princess dress-up dress for the hunt.

Alright! One in each hand! Finally!

Reach...
Random shot. I think he's going to be a swimmer when he grows up. Or a motorcycle rider. He looks a little on the tough side. What do you think Uncle Will?
This was a most hilarious breakfast. Isaac was leaning over his tray trying to blow his cheerios around. Well, they were honey nut and got a little moist. When he picked his head up, this is what he looked like. He (and Olivia&I) laughed for such a long time. Once it finally fell off, he did it again and again on purpose. His laugh was so funny that it made me laugh even harder.
Isaac LOVES climbing up and down out of Olivia's chair. She has been most gracious to let him use it so much (like everytime he's outside). One day they decided to share it. Aww. I think we need to get him a chair of his very own!

Palm Easter

We celebrated Easter on Palm Sunday with my parents and grandparents. Mom and dad will be in Germany for a month visiting my sister/brother-n-law. Which, by the way they just had their baby boy! Logan Blake Fowler. I'll have to get a picture on here soon.
Dad helping to color eggs. Olivia really liked putting stickers on them this year.

Isaac tried to eat one and then smashed it to smitherines. He had one crumbly mess.

Opening Easter baskets. One from Grammie Judy/Grandaddy, one from Grandma/Grandpa. Thank you very much for all the toys and clothes!!! (and candy!)

What kid doesn't like the Easter grass?

Before we left, we had a fire. Isaac's first. He kept clapping his hands together and saying "pop" because he heard all the crackling in the fire. Too cute! My Nana was here for a visit from Georgia. She's there in the chair in the garage.

The Face

I know it's a sad face, but I think it should be in a magazine!
All better in a matter of seconds!

Just the Two of Them

On the way home from a playdate at an open gym with lunch after at a friend's house. The first words out of Olivia's mouth when she got in the car, "Mom, I don't want to sleep." I told her she didn't have to.

I love watching.

Just thought it was a cute expression. No, he doesn't wear pink, it's Olivia's hat.

My Little Helpers

I hope they want to help when they are 18!

They started with the stirring, but it wasn't enough for Isaac. He stuck his hand in, picked up the beans, and splashed water all over. What a helper!

Isaac sweeping, Olivia dog sitting.

Olivia still wants to feed him. I think I have another picture on here from when Isaac first started eating solids. Check out Olivia's mouth.

And the biggest help of all.....

As soon as I opened the dryer, Luci decided to climb in to get warm. This is the first time she's ever done this and it took her about 3min. to get settled. It cracked me up!! She's so big, but can curl up so small!

Hike on Porters Creek Trail

Justin and I went on another hike. It was pretty cool because we saw so many different things. However, when we got out of the car, Justin asked, do we need our ponchos? (It had rained the entire day before) I look up at the sky, totally sunny, very few clouds, I say, nah, we're good. So we walked the whole way back in the rain. It was a light rain. But a rain nontheless. Good memories.

We saw a pretty waterfall while on the trail.
We saw Porters' old barn from way back when (30's?) And the cabin built by a hiking club in the 50's? (thru the middle view of barn)
And we saw a graveyard at an old mountain settlement. Some of the graves had been updated by family members.

The video doesn't do it justice of course. Looks or loudness!
