Soccer

Olivia and Isaac are in another season of soccer. However, Olivia has informed me that she is "going to take a year off" after the season is over. How cute. 

 She's #1 this year.

 This picture was from the 1st soccer game. I like it because it reminds me of those dog pictures with their noses close to the camera that I like so much. Weird. I know.

 And this is what these two do while waiting for Olivia's game to be over. (sliding/rolling down the hill) It doesn't look muddy, but their clothes were covered by the time they finished playing.

 I believe Isaac has the most powerful kick on his team...and if you are in front of him when he kicks, watch out!  The ball will hit you right in the stomach, or the chest, or the head. Many players know this already. Whoops.

Easter

A few days we went to the co-op to "play" with the chicks.

 Our church service was held on the Maryville high school football field.

 Our neighbors came with us.

 After service they had blow ups for the kids.

 Elias is getting really good at climbing.

 Isaac likes these things.

 We were just hanging out since she didn't want to throw balls.

 Back at home later getting ready for egg hunt.

 Goal: each to fill one bucket to the top. I like Elias' face....and the other two faces...

 Here we go!

 Luci helped hunt. The grass was tall.

 Elias decided he wanted to quit and not do any more hunting. So Justin went with him and the other two helped.

 This one only came down by shaking.

 Isaac found one for him by the trampoline. (It's in his hand)

 I must admit the eggs were not filled with amazing things, so when Isaac was a little more than disappointed that so many of his eggs only had paper in them....I really had nothing to say except...

..."What, don't you like my drawings?"

 Olivia found the 3 eggs with stickers.

 And Elias lucked out with the most money...and some candy.

 This was the first year Olivia expressed wanting an Easter outfit. So we went shopping the day before and found these together. I must admit, it was really fun and relatively quick. (my kind of shopping)

I'm so thankful that Jesus' tomb is empty! We celebrated with kids by making cinnamon-empty-tomb-rolls for breakfast. :-)

Easter at G&G's and School

Coloring eggs was like new all over again for Elias this year.

 He didn't use the spoon for his first few eggs.

 And then he put 9 eggs in a row into the color for about 2 seconds and then pulled them right out again. Looks like a pink chicken laid those eggs.

 Then he started to use the spoon.

 We still got the thumb.

 Isaac decided he wanted to drink the egg color.  It was yuck.

 There they are. 

 Olivia and Isaac both had Easter egg hunts at school on different days.  I guess I didn't take any pics with Isaac's class, so here's Olivia's. They each had a number to hunt for and Elias was given the number 3, which he thought looked like an E so it was perfect.

 It took a really long time for the kids to find all their eggs with a certain number. And some were never found.

 Elias found a tree.  He also helped the moms hide eggs and had put about 6 eggs in the center of that tree by his foot.

School Carnival and Stuff

This was from a school carnival the kids had in February. That's Isaac and Olivia on those things.

  Elias pushed himself all the way down the hall...verrryyy slowwwllyy. And then dad got to push him back.

 Justin and I had to leave for a marriage conference, but Grandpa and Grandma got to stay for the rest of the fun.

 Good thing it wasn't any lower.

 This may be where Olivia got her idea for face painting when the 2nd graders had their Market Day.

 This is Sands Alive.  Way cool to touch and kinda like oobleck except more like sand.

 Elias wrote all those letters by himself. We have been working on the i and not attaching the l to the other side of the E.

 Panera lunch. It was cute to see Elias carrying on a LONG conversation with Grandpa about what he had been doing. Of course, it stopped when I came with a camera. 

 I think he only wants the broccoli cheddar soup for the bread.
