 After a freezing cold time of delivering girl scout cookies on a snow day, we came home and got our fuzzy socks on.

 And danced on tables...with our fuzzy socks. (and were then told to stay off the table)

Gramp and Nana came to visit a few weeks back. Very fun! This was Mouse Trap with Nana.

Those were all the pictures I got on my camera but we also had fun hiking with Gramp and Nana and playing at a park while driving around Maryville.  Thanks for coming! We really enjoyed seeing you guys!

Kids, Girl Scouts

He's really liking to get his own food lately. He always looks for the marshmallows first.

 Dinner at Sams. We now have our own membership so I'm certain more dinners will follow!

 1/2 way ready for church.

 We had a nice jumping day.

 He was tending the fire at the campsite while Isaac and Olivia went hunting.

 Mr. Fix-It

 One of these bears was Lancaster Bear that she got to bring home from school over the weekend.  She had the same one at the house.

 This one wasn't rotated when I loaded it. Hmm.  I made these cupcakes for Olivia's girl scout troop's World Thinking Day. They represented China. Those are panda bears. With no ears. I know.

 Lancaster Bear got to go too. Addy, also in her class this year and last, is one of her best friends.

 Yes, he's still in a crib and may be there for another 2 years. :-)  I just love sleep pics.

 I'm really bummed I didn't have my camera at the actual event.  This is Olivia and her baby after their Tea Party at church.  All the "moms" made food for their babies who all ate around a table on the floor. Then all the moms had tea and toast (made their own) together. Everybody dressed up. Olivia really liked matching her baby. I see American Doll potential...  

 Isaac is yelling from the living room, "Mom! Elias is in his Mary outfit!"  (Olivia's underwear around his head.)  Elias then kept referring to himself as Mary. ("Me Mary, me Mary")

In Love With Snow

 More Xs,Os, & hearts were hung from the light that didn't make it in the picture. 

I'm SO glad we got to experience 6 1/2 inches of snow in TN, since it won't happen again for another 20yrs (time since the last 'big blizzard').  Awesome.

So we decided to make the world's largest snowman.

 And a big fort in the backyard.

 With an enter and an exit. By the next day, the fort door had fallen shut, so they made another one all by themselves...total funness.

 Isaac made a big ball to sit on...and of course shoot stuff with his stick.  Do you see all the snow? Can you believe that by the next day, it was all gone....except for ruined remains of the fort and snowman.

Thanks to Aunt Tara for the dirt play dough recipe...we were able to enjoy this stuff for THREE hours....I kid you not. Isaac didn't move from that table until lunchtime. He raced cars, made caves, fought army guys, created construction sites, parted the red sea, acted out Otis and the calf story at mud pond, hid transformers, and who knows what else.  It's not only wonderful because it's dirt-like, but there is also coffee in it which makes it smell divine. 

Elias didn't last the entire time, but definitely enjoyed it too.

Elias got to play in rice by himself.  Cool things by himself don't happen too often.

Happy 5th Birthday to Isaac!

This is going to be a big post...but what do you expect when one celebrates the day of birth for two days... and it snows.

The usual... breakfast.  It worked out so great because J&O had a snow day on Isaac's birthday so we got to have a family snow fun day.

 His mouth is so big now, he can eat one doughnut in one bite! 

Way to go!

More, please!

He opened one present after breakfast. It's there under his hand. It's the turtle he's wanted since Christmas.

 "Mom, do you want to see my ninja moves?"

 He thought he was ready to go outside after the ordeal of snowpants and boots. Jacket and gloves help too.

 They were excited to show me how they made headless snow angels by doing it on their tummies.

 The best snow-playing time... it was snowing on us the whole time we were out so we got to lay down and look up while it fell on our faces.  Although, I think this picture was from day 2 of playing so no falling snow.

And somewhere in there we had lots of hot chocolate.

 We took him to a Japanese steakhouse since he's never been.

 The fire was cool and Olivia got rice thrown at her face.

 We also got Dairy Queen ice cream.

 Olivia is giving him his birthday hug.

 A couple more presents were opened! Thanks Fowlers for the ninja gear and Gramp&Nana for the ball bounce back thing-a-ma-jig.  Nothing in the house has broken...as of yet.

 Isaac wanted an airplane cake forever, but then decided he wanted a tank cake. I thought airplanes would be easier, so then I just combined the two.

 Then came more partying with G&G at Firehouse Subs.

 Good thing we got a picture before we found out you can't stand on the blowup animals.

 Bounce USA.  Elias hung in there with the big kids till he fell and hurt his head. He spent the rest of the time sucking his thumb and holding my hair.

 I told Isaac to look at me and smile, so Elias did.

 He got lots of fun presents, this was just the clearest picture.
