HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Justin's 30th Birthday celebration lasted almost a week! This past weekend, family came over for a steak dinner which was better than the Outback. Then on Monday we went floating down a river near Pigeon Forge (VERY relaxing). Wednesday Olivia and I surprised Justin by showing up to his school with cake and cupcakes to share with his staff, and decorations for the office. He was supposed to be out of the building most of the day Thursday with meetings, but lo and behold, Thursday came and no meetings...so he got to celebrate twice at school! His office was confettied and black paper covered his door. I guess he's officially over the hill. We got to enjoy some good old bluegrass music in downtown Dandridge Thursday evening.

HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY DEAR!

Steak dinner with family

I want to be just like Daddy!
After MANY tries, this was the best family picture we got!
Here's some more pictures from Will and Tara's weekend visit.
Olivia was sharing her shells with Uncle Will after reading Sally sells seashells by the Seashore.

Super relaxing River Rat tube ride down the river. And very pretty.
More random pictures...
Dad sharing a rootbeer float with Olivia. I think we have another begger.
Olivia "running" the car after some rain.

Olivia made it through the tunnel by herself! Woo Hoo!

Amazing!

So here "it" is.....Baby #2!! We got the ultrasound last Monday. I was 15 weeks along. The ultrasound technician said she couldn't tell for sure, but she is 90% positive it's a boy. They will be more positive at the next ultrasound, Sept 8. :-) Justin is already 100% sure it's a boy. I say it's still 50/50.
It was kinda weird going to see the doctor for the 1st time and seeing the baby already. With moving and insurance issues, I couldn't get in until last week. They said everything looked good and healthy. So Praise the Lord! Keep us all in your prayers!

Justin made it in the Farragut Press already as assistant principal! Here's the scoop! What a handsome guy!

Homey

Here's a few pictures to show our "temporary" home. A blessing, but we're really hoping the offer we put on a house will be accepted sometime this coming week. It would be a fixer-upper, but it's in a very nice neighborhood. We'll keep you posted.

We live in the basement. We're allowed in the finished upstairs too!

View of English Mountain from deck. Extra storage area.

Olivia's bedroom. Luci's bedroom.

Our bedroom. Living room.

Picnic at Cherokee Park.

The park had a wading pool we couldn't pass up for Olivia.

She wanted to let everyone know she was there.

She met a friend. As you can see, we were not prepared for swimming, hence, the diaper.
Precious!
Olivia loves playing with the rocks. So does Luci.
More fun outside.
'Who did this to my hair?'
Olivia could ride this school bus around for hours if it didn't hurt my back so much. She needs just a little bit longer legs.
Foil hats art project.
We finally got to pet a "smokey bear".
Beginning stage of "drawing shapes" in pudding. There wasn't much drawing going on...
She really ate a lot for not having a spoon!

Dogs, Birds, Family

Aunt Tara and Uncle Will came for the 4th of July weekend and brought Olivia some crocks. She LOVES them and was showing them off for the camera.

She likes Jackson because he's just her size. Who's going to lick who first?
Grandaddy helping her put shoes on....and off...and on....and off...and on...and off.

Olivia gets so excited to see the ducks and geese on the water. She also gets giggley when the birds fly close and eat from the bird feeders.

What a month!

What a chore to move! Yes, that's right. We are no longer Missourians....we are now Tenneesseeans! God sold our house on the first open house we had in the spring to the first person who walked in! Justin has also been looking for an administration position in Education for the past few months. When we left on June 30th for Tenneessee, Justin had one interview set up for the day after we got here. God really knows what he's doing! One interview is all it took! Justin got the position! He is now the assistant principal at Farragut Primary School in western Knoxville!!! He'll start next week. So that puts us in a superfast search for a house....which we know God will provide as well. In the meantime, we are staying in the basement at my parents' house in Dandridge, TN. It's not finished, but at least all of our stuff fit in! It's been quite a busy month, but it's also amazing to see how God works as you trust him with more areas of your life!

Here are some pictures of a family visit to the Lake of the Ozarks in MO before we moved.

Happy Father's Day!

...is this the start of a yawn?

See my foot?

I think Olivia would have perferred no life jacket!

Olivia chillin with Luci before we moved.

Fry me up! I'm sweet!

Where's Olivia?

We found an outfit that I used to wear as a kid on one of the cabbage patch kids mom gave us. It so happened to fit Olivia now!

See my shoes?

These pictures are from a super cool hiking trip we took this past weekend just outside of Gatlinburg, TN. We hiked about 2.7 miles up the mountain to Rainbow Falls, had lunch, then went another 2.7 miles down. Olivia sat this one out with Grandma and Grandpa.

We crossed 2 bridges like this.

Justin is in the picture on the left to give you an idea of how big the waterfall actually was. Of course, the picture doesn't do it justice.

This was the view as we ate lunch.
