The Tooth, Fall Party, & Pumpkin Patch

First one! Fell out at school. She said she was playing with it with her tongue and it got stuck. So she tried to unstuck it with her finger. She didn't know it fell out until it landed on her desk. The students get a small plastic treasure box to put it in and then the class sings a song about having a hole in your head.
After listening to Elias loudly say "eat, eat, eat" over and over again while standing beside me as I was fixing lunch...I finally told him to go sit at the table and wait while I finish getting him food. And this is what he did. Sat and watched birds ever so patiently. That's a rarity, but was still so sweet.
Olivia's fall party at school, which also happened to be pajama day. I got to do the pin the nose on the pumpkin and make-a-sticker-pumpkin station.
She was excited to have her desk moved for the first time this year.
It so happens that Mrs. Lancaster also has hello kitty pj pants!
Isaac got some new turtle pjs. I really hope they fit once they are washed! They didn't have any bigger ones and he REALLY wanted them.
We went to the pumpkin patch. Had lots of fun with the goats. One escaped and J became the goat herder, which was FUNNY! After he escaped the second time, we just left him to graze.
Elias is still not sure about goats.
Us picking up corn from the ground so they could eat from our hand.
The small pumpkin choices.
The big pumpkin choice! HELP!!
She did it!
The pose.
Took this one from the van while I was moving it to the other end of the patch. They are like a bunch of ducks....
And we enjoyed two apple pies after we were done!
So thankful for family time.

Atlanta Wedding

We went to Georgia for J's cousin's wedding. We got to see many of J's family while there. This is Elias riding in the car inspecting his leg.
Gramp and Nana at the wedding. Aww...
It was an outdoor wedding at the Stanley house with reception inside. This is the closest we got to a family picture.
They look like little gentlemen and a lady.
Funny...this was the best shot we got of Chad and Megan. Loved her shoes.
Probably too many of these two, but they sure were cute together.  This was Karsen NOT wanting to eat his beans.  The funny thing is Isaac keeps reminding me that he and Karsen are on the Sugar Diet.
 Silly faces.
Because that's just who they are.
Before the wedding we hiked at Kennesaw Mountain with the whole gang (didn't get any pics). It was fun even with a tad bit of rain. However, after the rest of the fam headed back to MO earlythe next morning, we headed back to the battlefield to get the coat that Karsen left. We didn't go nearly as far because it's no fun to walk with kids complaining they are cold. I don't think she looks cold, do you??
 Elias leading the coat train.
 "Hold you"
 The End.

Out and About & Around the House

J's fall break was the week before Olivia's.  However, he did get to go hiking with neighbor John up to Max Patch.
 Cool views and trails.
Elias looking through books right after he woke up from nap.
J making cookies with the kids.
Elias helping dad hammer the van...well, ok, J was fixing it Elias was hammering the driveway.
Have I posted one like this?? Well, this is the new norm. He gets really excited to eat cereal w I&O so he can do this. During the week he often eats after them and still gets baby oatmeal....no slurping there.
 Playing the tablet together.
J had tickets to the Rainforest Zoo in Sevierville.
These guys were fun.  They chased J all over the place as he ran back and forth and back and forth and back and forth.... they even pounced on the window a few times. Very funny to watch.
We fed "Australian goats"...they looked the same as American goats. I thought it was cute that Elias was sucking his thumb while I attempted to make him feed the goat.
We are notorious for picking up all the dropped food below dispensers in order to feed animals.
This guy made me laugh.  It's a chicken.  Reminds me of big bird.
At G&G's house making marshmallow guns.
'Perfecting the blow' while waiting for dad to finish.
Elias did NOT want to follow dad's directions to make the gun.  He much preferred the football goal that Grandma made.
We had to eventually put all the dogs inside because they kept eating all the ammunition.
 Then we made a fire.
 Farmer Hickox
The kids played in the sand for a bit. A little chilly.
He still does not know how to climb in or out....yea!

September - Farewell Fowlers

J had Wacky Wednesday or something like that....this is him and a fellow teacher. I thought it was cute.
We went to free teacher day at Wonderworks in Gatlinburg. Afterwards, J went up in this balloon that was out back. Only teachers were free for the ride and it only lasted a few minutes.
 All dogs, unite!
 Grandpa and Beauty Shop
Kids have named these slippers Quack and Quackers. Elias likes to wear them on the trampoline when they all jump.
A new way for outside eating.
What?
On our way to Dollywood.
Elias and I were waiting for the others to show from the tram and bathrooms. He watched the Dollywood worker tell guests to pose in front of the pumpkins. She told them to hold their hands out like they were holding a butterfly. When I wanted to take Elias's picture, he kept doing that with his hands to "hold the butterfly". I couldn't get him to NOT do it. And he had a cookie.
They made it off the tram with Grandma.
We rode the cars.
Isaac and Olivia are now tall enough to ride by themselves. That was weird.
Raspberries for lunch.
Rode all the kid rides. Plus O&I rode the River Rampage for their first time with Uncle Will (twice) and Aunt Tara (once).
 Pre roller coaster excitement.
Fowlers got some things to make this cool activity board for the kids. Will and Justin had a good time putting it all together after Tara painted the wood.
They all had fun with it. Door stoppers are PERFECT for kids! And Connor loves to push things.
We decided to take Grandaddy's fishing boat out that he gave my parents. We had it loaded down, but it still worked! Fun times! Thank you Grandaddy!
All the kids got to drive.
It was hard to keep Elias and Connor out of the water.
Aww...
They were fighting bad guys with their water guns.
Rocking themselves. The Fowlers have now moved to their next home, Louisiana. We already miss you guys TONZ! But thankful you are five hours closer to our time zone!
We made scarecrow heads.
Isaac is in love with this stick. It's a perfect gun for bad guys. I missed the picture when Isaac had Elias down on the ground next to him shooting also.
Update on how he sleeps. My favorite.
