Putt Putt and Hay Bails

Justin caught this pose.  He's so big these days!
Family putt putting.
I only put this one in because I had just made a hole in one.....and I might mention that I made FOUR of them while there....(which NEVER happens)...so the answer is YES....I beat Justin by 2!!!
Elias is getting the hang of it.
It got a wee bit hot by the time we finished so we stopped for a picnic at no other than Gander Mountain parking lot. It had VERY nice grass by the way.
Wanna know what they are studying?
These guys. We had a snail dig one morning. We kept the ones that didn't crawl away during naptime. Isaac has a collection of snail shells that we pull out every now and again.
Justin brought in this tree frog late one night. It hopped, but also shimmied up the side of the bathtub like spiderman. Neato. We showed the kids a video the next day.
I believe I have one like this of Isaac. Closets are the best. So are the bottom two drawers of mom's jewelry box.
Isaac and Logan playing doctor. Logan looks like a little Doogie Howser.
He's in on it too.
Isaac and Olivia have been on a cookie cutter kick lately, mostly using them for drawing. We made gingerbread cookies (I know it's not Christmas, but they are still my fav) with Logan and Connor. They made all kinds of critters and trucks and first name letters.
Hanging out with pops.
Hay bails are out again in G&G's neighborhood!!
This one cracked me up. Connor had been standing in between 2 hay bails when we decided to play hide n go seek. As soon as Connor heard the words, this is what he did.
No one fell off.
After their fear was conquered, Olivia Isaac and Logan got to do some hay jumping-off.

Heading back to the house to eat the dinner Aunt Tara and Grandma were fixing for us. Thanks!

Happy 35th to Justin!!!

Well, it happened again this year! Birthday for Justin!! The classic steak dinner at my parents house.
This time with Tara, Logan, and Connor.
A swim at Hickox Beach. (approx 8 bags of sand for a little walkway into the pond). Justin and Olivia caught minnows.
And we ate watermelon.  Olivia enjoyed hers in the water.
And for late night entertainment, Tara and I treated our feet to a mouthwash, vinegar, and water soak! Thank you pinterest for SUPER SOFT feet!
CHEESE!
On his actually birthday we took a family trip to Froyoz.
Yum.
Happy Birthday to the man I love!

End of August Fun

Bass Pro can give hours of fun....literally.  We even packed some lunches to eat while there!
Mom and I went hunting and got a deer.
Isaac decided he wanted a gun and bow and arrow for Christmas.
 Lunch time photo op.
After riding the elevator up and down so many times seeing all the animals, we finally got a little closer to them.
And touched a few.  It's a moose.
Playing inside the tents are fun too. Elias and Connor were funny to watch flopping their bodies all over the place on these cots.
 Big  papa chairs.
The benefits of going to the zoo on a Saturday.  More fun things are out for the kids.
And nasty pythons you can touch.
And brave little squirrels.
Thought Elias was cute during another flour time.
 Yep.

Family Photos, Zoo, Cousins, & Sleep

Yes, we finally decided to get a family photo to include Elias!
And one of these so we can look back on it in 30 years.
 And just because....
And this because we have no others of just him.
I took Isaac and Elias to the zoo.  This is a hole they can climb in to look at bears.  It's deeper than the picture looks.
 They rode the tortoise.
 And the saddle.
Elias did NOT want to share his nest.
He brushed goats for the first time by himself.
The zoo keepers came and made the elephants give a show for us.  They flapped their ears and raised their trunks on command. They got scooby snacks (for real, the guy said scooby snacks) for their treat.
We've stayed over night at my parents house each weekend so the kids can play together. Olivia LOVES having TWO babies to play with.
Wagon rides, tball, soccer...the favorites out front.
 Just cuz she's our girl!
Rock throwing. No one got wet or hit with a rock. Super!
J also took us on a truck ride around the neighborhood.
 Story time before bed.
We went to the coolest park that has all the old school metal toys. This was one of them.
They dragged sticks and fingers and grabbed rocks while going around and around.
Baby weight: two nuts on a stick.
Playing on the back of a train car.
 GLAD YOU ARE HERE!!!
Climbing up, running across, and jumping into Aunt Tara's arms.
 Elias trying to climb up.
 Watching a show.
Interesting places Isaac has been sleeping during nap.
And another way he chose to sleep during nap.
Elias pretending to nap in the dryer.
