Boomsday, Outside, Friends, and Sleep

Found some pictures from Aug and Sept. We rode bikes at G&G's house.
He zooms fast with little concern for tipping.
This is not her new bike, but she got a bigger one late this summer.
Over labor day weekend, Knoxville celebrates with Boomsday. We've never been to the firework show before and since this is the last year it will happen, we decided to go. Actually, I decided to go and Justin decided to drag himself along. He was so NOT looking forward to all the billions of people and traffic....however, after it was all over, he admitted it wasn't that bad. :-)
We took the washers game and had a picnic.

Boom! We watched from the top of the parking garage.
Ooo...Aaaaa....
We went to a lame-o Ramsey House. Cool because it was old, but bad for how they advertised. There was very little for the kids. Good thing we can have a good time where ever we go!
Justin took Isaac to shoot bow and arrows for boy scouts. He really liked it.
Elias has impressed me with his drawings lately.  He also colors the entire picture of a coloring book now.
This was baby Jesus in the clouds. (I like his ears...can you find them?)
We took a hike to this waterfall one Friday evening after school.
Caitlin got to come with us.
 We ate oreos.
They painted each other's faces with rocks they found.
Elias sneaking a hair grab in during the picture.
I guess Elias has taken on a few funny sleeping habits since sleeping more often with Issac.
Eli had a birthday that we went to celebrate. This is not Eli. It's just Justin making a face. Isaac made this face during the first week of kindergarten (not tongue, just eyes) so often during random class pictures that his teacher called concerned about his eyes and wondered if we had ever gotten them checked. Once we saw the picture, J and I both started laughing! Both of their eyes are fine...we just call them talented. :-)
 There's Eli! He's now 4!
They have kids the same ages and genders as ours so it's handy for everyone to have someone to play with.
Olivia and Lilly performed for us. Then they all wanted to watch the same recording on John's phone.
Another night...look at little Elias' hand...awww.
After getting our ideas from Curious George, we made king hats for our bears and had a lunch party.
Olivia brought the class hamster home one weekend. He got to go on fun helicopter rides and Justin built him a lovely maze out of legos to go through.
 She REALLY wants a hamster.

Happy 37th Birthday!

Of course....
 Happy Birthday to Justin!
Present time! And despite the picture, Luci ate nothing off the table!
Instead of cake or brownies, J wanted rootbeer floats this year. But I couldn't resist....just little cupcakes....
 Talent.
Then we played pin the tail on the donkey. :-)
Everyone got a turn except Grandpa....he had recently had knee surgery....hence playing it in the bedroom...
I think she was by far the funniest pinner.
 Look at her go!
Why the wrapping paper you ask???? I was hoping to keep the stickers off the wall. It worked mostly.
 Analyzing the results.
 Look! I got it here!
 Poor donkey...
Love you Justin! Happy Birthday back on Sept 4!!

School

Found a few extra pictures like this one...skipbo. Notice the buzz lightyear space hero toy with the buzz lightyear space hero boy.
Elias likes getting the bad guys and the bears with dad.
First day of school! Olivia in 3rd and Isaac in 1st!
She decided not to go with the blue dress she's been wearing the first and last days of school since kindergarten because last year on the last day she had to wear gym clothes/shoes.
Same ninja turtle backpack we bought him last year since he had to use a red tote bag instead.
The first day of school pose.
 In front of the flagpole.
We were actually walking in....not sure why Isaac decided to walk the other way...
 Yippee!
Her teacher, Mrs. LaFollette.
His teacher is in the room, Ms. Price. She is the same teacher Olivia had last year for 1/2 days in second grade.
Right to work.
In van after school. Olivia is sharing candy she got from her teacher.
Then we went to pick Justin up to get some ice cream. Rough day. Notice the tie is gone...boo.
And since I&O are so excited about school and telling E he should go to school with mommy, we've been taking up a few lessons here and there. I was impressed with Elias on "L day" (we are going through the letters in his name) because he circled all the L's himself and drew that person all himself (I only drew the clothes on) and wrote his name. He had the "s" correct the first time he wrote it and then changed it to the backwards S.
 Olivia's dream come true....holding a baby!
The boys with the 4th Yorio. (yes, i took them a bag of oreos the first time we went to their house...)
